The pricing boundary needs careful reading. Zoho advertises a 15-day free trial without a credit card and a permanent Free plan for two users, 10,000 rows, five workspaces and unlimited manually created reports and dashboards. However, current Ask Zia documentation says the generative-AI capabilities are available on Premium and Enterprise plans. Do not buy the Basic plan assuming the latest prompt-to-dashboard features are included.

Why it ranks here: Zoho can move beyond file uploads into connected, refreshed operational reporting while remaining more approachable than a large enterprise deployment.

4. Power BI Copilot: best for Microsoft data estates

The prominent caveat is licensing. Power BI Desktop is a free download, but Copilot requires a workspace on paid Microsoft Fabric capacity at F2 or higher or Power BI Premium capacity at P1 or higher.
